MedaMax - founders' view

The Downfall

It's been 3 years since I started my previous company, and unfortunately exited 4 months ago. The itch to build something valuable has only increased and I find it hard to believe that I failed. We started with the right intentions, however, sometimes ego takes the center stage and decisions are made without any validations solely for ones egos. I tried everything possible to fix things, later realised that this was a one sided affair while the other person is only looking for personal gains and marketing. I gave up, believing it's fine to take the blame rather than retaliating on someone else's behaviour.

Long story short, the journey got very bumpy and with all the false accusations which were being put on me, I decided to resign rather than fighting for my place. While people suggested on me taking a break, relaxing for sometime, I could barely spend anytime in peace, taking that break in my opinion would only make me overthink and not help in anyway. I decided to focus again and rebuild. I started spending more time on research, validations and read a lot of books. It was essential for me to also work on myself, I would earlier not blink an eye and blindly support when something was spoken with the belief that we are the 2 eyes of the company, and one of them has to make a few compromises. I've learnt it the hard way that things don't work that way. Fixing these traits was very essential,  I resorted to reading a lot of books to make those small fixes while also working on MedaMax.

I received overwhelming support from everyone in the team, few people even visited me as I was not responding to their messages. I will forever be grateful to everyone who helped me in building my company and I really hope it does well someday.

The Beginning

Not making the mistakes again and building something with the aim of delivering value after initial validations was very essential this time and I couldn't take any chances.
Rome wasn't built in a day!
After spending lots of time on the road, tech, running pilots, I was convinced that I was on the right side of the dunning kruger curve and with my 2 trusted idea machines/supporters, MedaMax was born. With good people joining hands, great things can be built and I believe we have the caliber to execute this well.

MedaMax is the first touchpoint for any illness with the focus on tier 3 and beyond population of India.
We are laying babysteps now, but I know we are here for the long run and to help >70% of the Indian population.

A wiseman once taught me a life lesson "first things first" and I believe, we are doing the right first things.
